SCRAPSTASH

Good morning everyone!

I hope you had a wonderful long weekend!

Today's post is for all you iphone users and a huge thank you to Tammy for sharing this wonderful information with me!  It's an app called "Scrapstash".  Its free and it tracks all your scrapbooking products with one easy scan of a barcode!  Yes thats right, how cool is that.  And if the product you are buying is not in the database you can add it in and it is shared with everyone!  The only downside that I can see right now is its only for iphone users :(

MINI ALBUM BINDING

Good morning everyone!

Well the long weekend is upon us and as it turns out it looks like we might even be graced with some not bad weather!  And for those of you that reside in Edmonton and surrounding area we will be open holiday Monday from 12:00 - 4:00.

I came across this cool technique by Francine of Callaloo Soup yesterday and of course just had to share!  I know so many of you love making mini albums and I love the way Francine bound her album in the cover.  If you check out her blog she has a full tutorial on how she did this clever little technique.

Have a safe and happy long weekend!

A GREAT BOY PAGE WITH PRIMA

Good morning everyone!

I know everyone always seems to struggle with boy pages, guy cards and so on but here is a wonderful boy page designed by "Heather Jacob" using a couple of different lines by Prima.  I love how she combined the lines and used all the new trinkets and findings!  You can check out more of Heather's fabulous work on her blog at Art and Life!

Good morning everyone!

Another beautiful day and its Demo Night with Nicole from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.  Don't forget you can come any time during this time period and the best part is its FREE!!!!  Tonight Nicole is doing a very cool technique with rub ons!

Also for any of you that are looking to be taught by Edmonton's master photography Con Boland is holding a 3 week photography class at the store starting May 13, 2013.  Check out our website for further details!

I have linked posts many times to Anne's Paper Creations because she does some really cool and unique projects and today's is no exception!  Using all the wonderful Tim Holtz dies Anne has created masculine cards, which I know is something everyone is always looking for!  And I love the fact that this has just given me another idea on how to use my dies (darn, now I have to buy that camera, because its so awesome!).

METAL-OLOGY TAG

Good morning everyone!

I came across this very cool tag by Anna-Karin of Layers of Ink and just had to share!  To get that intense depth Anna used pieces of chipboard under adhesive metal which I think gives it real dimension!  And if you check out her blog you will get a closer look at how she did the wings and the layers of acrylic!

JULLIE NUTTING DESIGNS

Good morning everyone!

If you haven't checked out Julie Nutting Designs then you should!  Earlier this year Julie designed a set of stamps for Prima that just took the paper crafting world by storm.  Along with her design book "Collage Couture" Julie's lovely ladies have been a huge hit on canvas projects, tags, cards and scrapbook pages.

This beautiful canvas designed by one of our customers (Wendi M.) using the Julie Nutting designs and Kaisercraft 75 Cent is a perfect example of the mix of scrapbooking and mixed media!

PUTTING ON THE BLING

Good morning everyone!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend and a great National Scrapbook Day!  During our busy day on Saturday one of my customers (Barb L.) dropped by to show me her blinged out Silhouette cover and I just had to share!  This is such a cool idea!

Using a good fabric glue like Fabri-tac by Beacon, Barb not only blinged out her cover she also used her artistic Zentangle skills and permanent pens and drew the beautiful designs.
