When I go to places like Winners or Home Sense I am always looking for stuff to cover! Cover you ask? Cover with paper!!! And its amazing at what you can find in the sale section or something that's just no quite up to your liking and turn it into something unique and interesting! While on my search for some "Fall" themed items I came across this metal pumpkin. The shape was perfect but the colors just weren't right. In comes the new Bo Bunny Fall line and voila!
I then found a really cool tin with a lid but didn't really like the chicken decor and new exactly which paper would work great! On both items I used the Claudine Hellmuth Matte Medium to apply the paper, it also adds nice coat to seal it. Its very similar to a modge podge but works so much better! Ranger also carries the same product in their line so either works great when you want to adhere paper!

Tim Holtz - New Dies
If you haven't had a chance to check out the new Tim Holtz Sizzix Dies I am sure you are going to want to after you see this beautiful fall tag created by our very own Jan! After receiving four new dies from his new collection Jan just couldn't wait to start creating! The new Autumn Gatherings decorative strip is just gorgeous!
Jan has also stamped the background with one of the Tim Holtz stamps and embossed it to give it a resist feel!

Wreath Making Season!
It's just about time to start thinking about making another wreath! With Fall just around the corner, Halloween kicking at its heals and Christmas rolling in after what a better time to start wreath making and we've found some great ideas to get you started.
Here is such a great idea by "The Polkadot Chair". Using rulers they have created this adorable "Back to School" wreath!
Our second wreath is by "The Red Thread". She has created a unique wreath using cut leaves. And if you go to her blog I love her comment on how she used left over paper from an advent calendar to come up with this amazing design!
Our last wreath is by "Something from Cassie". Now this gal has some amazing decorating and party ideas and you can tell she loves it by all her great ideas!
So that's it for wreaths, hope we gave you some inspiration!

One of our Favorite Designers
If you are looking for inspiration then look no further! One or our favorite designers and on many designs teams (I am sure you will see why) is Karola! While surfing through her blog yesterday I came across the most beautiful layout she did for The Color Room. Looking a little closer I believe she used some of the beautiful Cheery Lynn doilies and butterflies!

Tag Inspiration
Good morning everyone!
Last month in my tag swap group our challenge was to create a tag using only one piece of white card stock. We were able to ink it or stamp it, but it could only be made with the one piece of card stock. So not using any inks or stamps Jan came up with the most beautiful tag!
So inspired by her tag Jan create this beautiful layout titled "Over the Garden Wall", except this time she used more than one piece of card stock, but the same technique! To see more of how she achieved this outstanding layout you can visit her blog at "In My Own Imagination".

Here is another great idea by Martha Stewart Crafts. Using old buttons and a cork from a wine bottle you can make interesting stamps or a great way to create stationary, and do some fast branding on packaging or letter head!

Inspiration from Something Old
It never ceases to amaze me the talent out there! Most people would have thrown out there old trowel but not when you can turn it into something quite as interesting as this!
Here is a great idea we found using an old trowel and some vintage photos!
I am sure we must have a few of these lying around somewhere and if not at my house definitely in my parents garage. And what would you do with it you ask, I might add one of those new hooks by 7Gypies and it could hang on the side of a printers tray or perhaps just hang on the wall with a group of antique items.
Have a great day everyone.

Love to be Organized
Sometimes its hard organizing your scrapbooking supplies and this can be a factor of space, quantity of product or just needing some great ideas! Well today our great organizational idea coms brom BeaOrganized. This is a great way to store your Stickles/Alcohol Inks/Glitter or any product in small bottles or containers.
So here they have attached a piece of magnet to the bottom of their bottles and then attached each bottle to an upside down cookie sheet. The thing I like about this idea is that you can see your colors and the product is always at the tip end of the bottle.
Check out their blog they have lots of creative ideas and great ways to help you get organized!
Have a great day eveyone!

Lost and Found!
As Roxanne would say Ahhhhhhhhh! The new My Minds Eye Lost and Found came in yesterday and it is unbelievable!!!! This by far has to be the most beautiful line this season. They have redone their glitter so it doesn't fall off nearly as much as it used to, but really when its this nice who cares? There are four lines in the Lost and Found 2 collection and then there is the Christmas line! So if you love paper as much as some of us do at the store then you can understand our excitement! So here is a little sneak of a layout which we found on the My Mind's Eye Blog!

Testing new Techniques!
If there is one thing that I always keep in my scrapbooking stash its tags! Why tags you ask? Well they make a great substitute for a card in a pinch, I'm in a tag swap, but most of all I find them best for experimenting with new techniques. Tags are a great way to not only experiment but to catalogue all the different techniques that are building up in your head, or that you've book marked on your computer, and when all is said and done they look great on display!
One of my favorite designers Tammy Tutterow is always blogging about new techniques and great ways to get the most out of your products! In this post Tammy has done some great techniques she recently learned at a Range class and the finished product is fabulous! Check out Tammy's blog for full instructions on how you can achieve the same results in just a few easy steps!
